What is Rewi Pro?

Rewi Pro is our premium tier that unlocks advanced spending analytics, unlimited subscription tracking, custom app themes, and priority support to help you master your finances.

How do I restore my Pro purchase?

If you switch devices, go to the Upgrade to Pro screen and tap Restore Purchases at the bottom. This will verify your previous transaction with the App Store or Google Play.

What are 'Custom Categories'?

Pro users can go beyond the default categories (Streaming, Gym, etc.) and create their own labels to organize their spending exactly how they see fit.

How do I change the app theme?

Once you have Pro, head to Settings > Appearance. You can choose between various OLED dark modes, light themes, and accent colors like Indigo, Rose, or Emerald.

How do I cancel my Pro subscription?

All subscriptions are managed by your respective App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). You can cancel anytime via your phone's Subscriptions settings.

Does Rewi support dark mode?

Yes! Rewi supports a native dark mode that follows your system settings. Pro users can further customize this with 'True Black' modes for OLED screens.


🔒 Privacy & Security

Is my data safe?

Absolutely. Rewi uses local-first storage with on-device encryption. Your financial data never leaves your phone, and we do not have access to your personal subscription details.

Does Rewi automatically link to my bank account?

No. To maximize privacy and security, Rewi does not connect to your bank. You have full control over manually entering and managing your subscription data.

What happens if I delete the app?

Since your data is stored locally on your device for privacy, deleting the app will erase your data. We highly recommend exporting a backup file before deleting the app.


⚙️ Features & Usage

How does the Weekly Audit work?

Every Sunday, Rewi sends a smart notification summarizing your upcoming bills and past usage. It helps you identify 'zombie' subscriptions you might want to cancel before the next charge. For pro users, you can run as many audits as you like.

Will I be notified before a trial ends?

Yes. When adding a subscription, set the Start Date and toggle notifications. Rewi will alert you 24-48 hours before the billing cycle begins.

How is the 'Monthly Average' calculated?

Rewi normalizes all costs. For example, a $120 yearly subscription is calculated as $10/month in your analytics to give you a clear picture of your true monthly overhead.

Can I track family shared subscriptions?

Yes! You can add notes to any subscription to indicate who you're sharing it with and even split the cost manually in the Price field to reflect your actual contribution.

Can I track yearly or bi-yearly bills?

Yes. When adding or editing a subscription, you can select Monthly, Yearly, Quarterly, or Weekly billing cycles.

Is there a limit to how many subs I can add?

No, Rewi allows you to track as many services, bills, and recurring costs as you need.


📂 Data Management

How do I export my data?

Go to Settings > Data Management. From there, you can export your entire subscription list as a CSV or JSON file for your personal records or manual backups.

Can I use Rewi on multiple devices?

Rewi is currently local-first to protect your privacy. While you can restore your Pro status on any device, your subscription data must be moved manually via the Export/Import tool in Settings.

What should I do if a notification is missed?

Ensure that Notifications are enabled for Rewi in your phone's System Settings. Also, check that you haven't enabled a Focus Mode or Do Not Disturb that might block alerts.

How can I suggest a new feature?
