Welcome to Rewi. By using our application, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully—they are designed to protect both you and the developer.

1. Nature of the Service & Professional Disclaimer​

Rewi Vault is a premium productivity and organizational tool designed to provide a centralized hub for tracking recurring obligations. By using the Service, you acknowledge the following:

  • Informational Intelligence : Features including, but not limited to, "Audit Logs," "Utility Scoring," and "Financial Intelligence Reports" are generated via internal algorithms based on user-inputted parameters. These tools are intended for organizational assistance and personal insight only.

  • No Fiduciary Relationship: Rewi Vault does not provide professional financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. The "Audit Engine" is an estimation tool; it does not constitute a formal financial audit.

  • Actionable Responsibility: Rewi Vault is a passive tracking interface. It does not possess the authority or technical capability to interface with third-party financial institutions, banks, or service providers. You are solely responsible for the manual cancellation, modification, or payment of any subscription tracked within the app.

2. Data Integrity & Accuracy of Insights​

The "Zero-Knowledge" and offline architecture of Rewi Vault places the integrity of data and insights in the hands of the user.

  • Dependency on Manual Inputs: The precision of the "Pro Audit Engine" and projected billing cycles is 100% dependent on the accuracy and frequency of the data you provide. Rewi Vault cannot verify the validity of the costs or dates entered.

  • Systemic Limitations: While our algorithms are designed for 100% logical accuracy, Rewi Vault shall not be held liable for:

    • Missed Reminders: Notification delivery can be affected by OS-level battery optimization, "Do Not Disturb" settings, or hardware limitations.

    • Calculation Discrepancies: Variations in currency exchange rates, leap years, or unannounced price hikes by your service providers.

  • Independent Verification: Users are expected to treat Rewi Vault as a secondary reference. Always cross-reference the app’s "Next Billing" projections with your official bank statements or provider invoices to avoid overdrafts or forgotten trials.

3. Pro Subscription, Payments, & "Lifetime" Access​

Rewi Vault offers a "Pro" tier to unlock advanced financial intelligence and template libraries. By upgrading, you agree to the following billing protocols:

  • Payment Processing: All transactions, including subscriptions and one-time purchases, are processed exclusively through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Rewi Vault does not collect or store credit card numbers or billing addresses.

  • Refund Policy: Because Rewi Vault utilizes official billing APIs, all refund requests, payment disputes, or subscription cancellations must be initiated through Apple ID Account Settings or the Google Play Help Center. We cannot manually override store-level refund windows.

  • Definition of "Lifetime": A "Lifetime" Pro license grants the user perpetual access to all current and future Pro features for the functional lifespan of the application.

    • While we intend to maintain Rewi Vault indefinitely, "Lifetime" access is contingent upon the app’s availability on the applicable App Store and compatibility with future OS versions.

    • This license is generally non-transferable between Apple and Google accounts.

4. Absolute Data Sovereignty & User Responsibility​

Rewi Vault is built on a "Zero-Knowledge" architecture. We prioritize your privacy by ensuring that your sensitive financial data never leaves your device. This architecture necessitates a higher level of user diligence:

  • Local-Only Storage: 100% of your vault data, service templates, and audit logs are stored locally on your device’s internal storage. We do not maintain cloud backups, nor can we remotely access your data to recover lost information.

  • The "Export" Mandate: You are solely responsible for the safety of your data. We strongly recommend using the "Export Vault" feature to create encrypted backups regularly.

  • Liability for Data Loss: Rewi Vault is not liable for the permanent loss of data resulting from:

    • Physical damage to or loss of your mobile device.

    • Manual uninstallation of the Rewi Vault app (which clears local app data).

    • Factory resets or OS-level data wipes.

  • Security: The ultimate security of your data depends on your device’s overall security (lock screen passcodes, device-level encryption, etc.). Because the app operates entirely offline, the safety of the information is tied directly to the physical security of the hardware on which it is installed.

5. Prohibited Use & Intellectual Property Protection​

By using Rewi Vault, you agree to respect the technical integrity and proprietary assets of the application. The following actions are strictly prohibited:

  • Proprietary Database Protection: Rewi Vault’s library of 1,000+ service templates, icons, and curated "Utility Score" logic is the result of significant research and development. You agree not to:

    • Attempt to scrape, crawl, or extract the template database for use in third-party software.

    • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app’s "Audit Engine" or source code.

    • Automated Interaction: Use of bots, scripts, or automated tools to manipulate the app’s interface or "Pro" features is prohibited.

    • Lawful Use Only: You may not use Rewi Vault to facilitate illegal financial activities, money laundering, or to track subscriptions related to prohibited services under local or federal or international law.

    • Brand Integrity: You may not redistribute, "re-skin," or sell any portion of the Rewi Vault interface or its unique financial reporting layouts.

6. Comprehensive Limitation of Liability​

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Rewi Vault and its developer(s) shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Financial Loss: We are not responsible for any bank overdraft fees, missed cancellation deadlines, or unwanted billing resulting from your reliance on Rewi Vault. The app is a tracking tool, not an automated cancellation service.

  • Third-Party Actions: We are not liable for changes in pricing, terms, or service availability of the third-party subscriptions you track (e.g., Netflix, Spotify, etc.).

  • Notification Failure: Rewi Vault relies on system-level triggers. We are not liable for financial loss due to suppressed notifications, device "Sleep" modes, or hardware malfunctions that prevent a reminder from firing.

  • Data Irretrievability: Since the app is 100% offline, the developer has zero technical ability to recover your data. We are not liable for any loss of records due to app deletion, device theft, or local storage corruption.

7. Modifications to Service & Terms​

Rewi Vault is a living product. As we refine our "Financial Intelligence" algorithms and expand our template library, these terms must adapt.

  • Right to Update: We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Significant changes—such as shifts in data handling or Pro billing structures—will be communicated via an In-App Announcement or an update to this document.

  • Consent through Continuity: Your continued use of Rewi Vault following the posting of updated Terms constitutes your legal acceptance of those changes.

  • Feature Deprecation: While we strive for consistency, we reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue specific "Pro" features (such as specific service templates or legacy audit formats) to maintain the overall health and security of the application.

  • Technical Limitations of Support: Because Rewi Vault is 100% private, our support team cannot "log in" to your account, view your subscriptions, or recover your lost vault data. Please ensure you have your App Store or Google Play Transaction ID ready for any billing-related inquiries.

  • Response Times: We are committed to providing quality support to our Pro community. While we aim for rapid resolutions, please allow 2–3 business days for a response to complex technical queries.

9. Apple App Store / Google Play Minimum Terms​

  • Acknowledgement: This EULA is concluded between you and the developer only, and not with Apple or Google. The developer is solely responsible for the app and its content.
  • Scope of License: Your license is a non-transferable license to use Rewi Vault on any Apple-branded or Android products that you own or control.
  • Maintenance: Apple and Google have no obligation to furnish any maintenance and support services for the app.
  • Warranty: In the event of any failure to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple/Google for a refund of the purchase price. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple/Google will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever.
  • Product Claims & IP: The developer, not Apple or Google, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app or intellectual property infringement.
  • Legal Compliance: You represent that you are not located in a U.S. Government embargoed country or listed on any prohibited parties list.
  • Third-Party Beneficiary: Apple and Google, and their subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of this EULA and have the right to enforce it against you.
